N2N Cambodia 2014
What has started as a little dream in Jeffreys Bay in 2001 is becoming a mighty wave with new missionaries from the most unlikely places putting their hand up to go to the most difficult places that are unreached. Nations2Nations has helped sparked this new wave with people from every nation going to every nation. Last week we had our 2nd Celebration in Battambang, Cambodia where we had more than 20 nations gathered.
In a culture where you don’t invite people to the front for prayer, we’ve seen people spontaneously coming to the front sharing how they were deeply touched by God in seeing their dignity restored which has set off people praying for one another as they encountered God. At the end of the week teams were commissioned to go to Laos, Vietnam and Myanmar. We also saw University students coming to Christ during an afternoon gathering where they were enthralled by the cultural expressions from New Zealand, South Africa and the young people from Cambodia. They were challenged by one of the N2N speakers from Iran who gave his testimony in how he became a follower of Christ.
The highlight for me was to meet one of our young people, Samuel Mellow who has grown up in an impoverished community in Cape Town and who has come to Christ though our youth outreach in the City, finishing up his 9 month Bible course in Cambodia as he’s preparing to go to Laos as a missionary. Please continue to pray for us as we are also getting ready for the upcoming Nations2Nations Conference in Recife, Brazil from June 1st-8th 2014 ahead of the Soccer World Cup. The momentum is building up and they’re expecting up to 700 people to join us in Brazil.

Edwin for the N2N team
